In spite of man's negative influences, the world beyond our shores is still a fantastic place to visit and photograph, with surprises at every turn.  As a tour leader and photographer for more than 20 years, Mike has travelled to some of the world’s fantastic locations in search of animals, birds and wild places. 

Mike will as usual be spending time overseas with trips to Kenya and Madagascar.  Visit our trips page for details of UK arrangements and overseas departures for 2009 and 2010.

In 2010 Mike will again run spring and autumn photo workshops at Pensthorpe Nature Reserve Norfolk.  Mike's one to one nature photography tuition programmes are proving ever more popular.  They are offered country wide, however Mike's knowledge of East Anglia and in particular Norfolk adds a dimension that local knowledge brings.  In 2010 in conjunction with "Wildeye" Mike is co-tutoring Norfolk based nature and wildlife courses for film makers.

If your need is for a skilled and experienced wildlife photographer to fulfill a commission, you have come to the right place!  Commissions play an important part in Mike’s year.  Recently completed assignments include conservation grade farming and wildlife, species reintroduction programmes, and other conservation themed projects.

2010 will be another busy year working with the BBC as Wildlife Consultant in the production of the Springwatch programme from Pensthorpe Nature Reserve in North Norfolk.
